Groove the drag-back. Get the sole on the ball, drag it back cleanly and close, turn, and drive away with a change of pace.
The player performs a drag-back at a cone, no pressure. Emphasise the sole contact, keeping the ball close, and a sharp turn away. Slow and clean first, then add pace. Both feet, both directions. Rotate.
