Catch a firmly struck ball cleanly and securely. Set the feet early, get the body behind the line of the ball, take it into safe hands, and secure it before distributing.
A server strikes firm shots straight at the keeper from around the edge of the box. The keeper sets the feet, gets the body behind the ball, and catches it cleanly into the body, then distributes to restart. Vary the height, chest, waist, and at the feet, and insist on a clean, secure catch every time. Rotate server and keeper.
