Groove the routine. Roll it square with disguise, and the striker times the run to hit it first time into the mini-goal.

Open the angle and strike. Roll the ball square to shift the shooting angle, and the striker hits it first time before the wall and keeper adjust.

Retain possession from a throw-in and progress the play. Throw short and firm, receive and lay it back first time, and use the free thrower to switch the ball inside away from pressure.

Deliver an inswinging corner to the far post and attack it with a timed run. Whip it beyond the near-post players, time the far-post run to arrive late, and head it down and goalward.

Defend a free kick as a unit. Set the wall to protect the near post, position the keeper to cover the open side, and save the shot that beats the wall.

Beat the wall with a worked routine. Disguise the roll, open the angle with a square pass, and strike first time around the wall into the far corner before the keeper can adjust.

Flick it on and finish at the back post. Drive the inswinger to the near post, glance it on across goal, and time the back-post run to finish the flick.

Beat a packed box with a short corner. Combine to draw a defender out and change the angle of delivery, then cut it back from the better position for a runner to finish.

Create a chance from a long throw. Thrower: launch it flat and far to the near-post zone. Target: attack the ball with a hard run and head it down into the danger area. Runner: gamble on the knockdown and finish first time.

Score from the spot under pressure. Pick a target before you start, keep a consistent run-up and a stable plant foot, strike cleanly with enough pace, and commit to the corner without changing your decision.

Beat the wall and the keeper from a dead ball. Strike the lower half of the ball with sidespin to lift it over the wall and bend it into the top corner, or drive it low into the gap the keeper cannot cover.

Deliver a consistent inswinging ball to the near-post zone, attack it with a hard run to glance it across goal, and arrive on time at the back post to finish. Timing of the runs beats athleticism.

Create a free header from a corner with a blocking run. Screen the target's marker as he peels off, deliver into the space he runs into, and attack the ball unmarked to score.
