Warm up with the ball in a light 4v1. Get early touches, a clean first touch and pass, support at good angles, and build the tempo gradually as the body warms.
Four players around a box keep the ball against one defender in the middle. Play one and two touch, supporting at angles. Start at a gentle tempo and build it across the warm-up. Rotate the defender every 30 to 45 seconds. Keep it light: this is preparation, not a competition.
