Shooting drills for U13-U14

Finish from a tight angle by the byline. Take a controlled first touch, pick the far corner or the near post, and strike firmly and accurately across the keeper.

Score from almost nothing. From right on the byline, take a perfect touch and squeeze the strike across the keeper into the far corner.

Finish the angle first time. Meet the serve and strike it cleanly across the keeper into the far corner in one motion.

Finish a cutback first time with a clean, driven contact. Time the run onto the moving ball, get the plant foot right, and strike through it low and on target without taking a touch.

Strike a dropping ball cleanly on the half-volley. Judge the bounce, get the body over the ball, and drive it low and on target rather than under it.

Strike it first time from range into the corner. Get in line early, plant the standing foot, and hit through the moving ball cleanly.
