Two boxes turn a rondo into a switch. Circulate until the press commits, then transfer, and arrive in the second box before they do.

A plain 5v2 lets everyone play in front of the defenders. Putting one attacker inside with them changes the exercise entirely, because now somebody has to receive facing his own goal.

Five against three is where a rondo stops being keep-away. Three defenders can organise, so the ball has to move faster than they do.

A 4v2 rondo where the defenders must escape and the four who lost it have five seconds to win it back. Jump the ball, cut the pass, get big again.

4v2 plus a neutral in two halves: six passes with one to the neutral is a point, win it and play into your half while two of the losers sprint over.

A 6v2 rondo with a floater from Roberto De Zerbi's training. Six keep it, two press as a pair, and a pass that splits them into the floater scores.

Two teams of three play 4v3 with an end-line neutral. Make eight passes, transfer to the far neutral and sprint across to rebuild the overload.

Five metres and one touch removes the settling touch entirely. What is left is scanning, body shape, and knowing whether the split is on before the ball reaches you.

A 9v4 rondo in four squares: keep a 3v1, three passes then transfer, all four squares to score. Lose it and win it back before the mini goals.
