10 animated futsal drills, grouped by the moments that decide futsal games: rotations in possession, the power play, set pieces and quick transitions. Every drill opens in 2D and 3D with setup, coaching points and progressions.
Most futsal teams build from a 3-1: the fixo at the back, two alas wide and the pivot high. Rotations keep that shape while players swap roles, so defenders can never settle on a man. These drills cover the 3-1 rotation, a false pivot dropping to drag a defender out, 2v2 games and attacking the power play.
With every restart on a four-second clock, futsal set pieces are rehearsed routines, not improvised ones. Corners use blocks and screens to free a shooter, kick-ins work like short corners, and the 10-metre free kick decides close games once fouls build up.
On a small court a turnover becomes a chance in seconds. Defend the power play with a compact shape that protects the middle and forces shots from distance, and train the counter-attacks where numbers swing straight after a regain.
Futsal finishing is quick and close to goal. The pivot receives with their back to goal, lays the ball off, and a runner shoots first time before the goalkeeper can set.
