Dribbling drills for U9-U10

Carry the ball out of the defensive third under pressure. Drive forward to break the press, keep the ball out of the presser's reach, commit a second man, then release the free player.

Quick feet, then beat the live defender and finish. Sharp footwork through the rings, read the defender, beat him with a change of pace and direction and finish into the mini-goal.

Fake the cross and cut inside. Sell the cross with the wind-up, then drag the ball behind the standing leg and cut sharply infield.

Draw him in, then escape. Invite the pressure, drag the ball back as the defender commits, and turn away to keep the ball.

Hook it and spin away. Drive at the marker, hook the ball firmly with the outside of the foot to turn away from him, and accelerate into the space.

Shift the live defender, then knock it past. Sell the inside touch to move his weight, then knock it out with the outside of the same foot and accelerate past.

Shift the live defender, then push past. Sell the scissors to move his weight, then push the ball away with the other foot and accelerate past.

Sell the line, then chop back inside. Drive at the defender to commit him to the byline, then chop the ball across your body and accelerate inside.

Settle a live man, then explode past. Drive at him, stop sharply to get him on his heels, then burst back to full pace past him to finish.

Shift it inside-inside and slip through the gap. Draw the defenders, shift the ball quickly across your body onto the far foot, and glide through the gap to drive away and finish.

Sell the outside push, then snap it back and go. Push it out to fix the defender, whip it back inside in one motion, and drive past on the other side to finish.

Beat the defender and finish. Take him on, burst past into shooting range, then get your head up and finish calmly into the mini-goal.

Beat the defender by cutting inside. Threaten the line, then cut sharply off the outside foot and accelerate into the pocket on your stronger side.
